Suspects Series 3: Exclusive preview clip from tonight’s season finale!

The climactic Suspects Series 3 finale airs tonight on Channel 5 and we have an exclusive clip from the episode to share.

Episode 4 of the third series follows the detective team as they investigate a horrendous attack on an unidentified teenage girl, now in intensive care.

At first DS Jack Weston (Damien), DI Martha Bellamy (Fay Ripley) and DC Charlie Steele (Clare-Hope Ashitey) suspect she is a sixteen year old reported missing earlier that evening, Mandy Granger, but they soon identify her as a different teenage girl, Julie.

As the investigation unfolds and the suspects come to light, it becomes apparent that the two seemingly separate cases are in fact linked, and that solving one crime could help solve the other.

Joining the three leads for the series finale are an incredible guest cast including Jody Latham (Shameless, Waterloo Road), Chris Coghill (24 Hour Party People, EastEnders) and Lucy Gaskell (Being Human, Misfits, Casualty).

We have a feeling that this is going to be another incredible, twisty turny, cleverly crafted episode from the Suspects creators, bravo to them for never shying away from hard-hitting and harrowing storylines that shine a light on tragically topical issues.

It has come around far too soon, but like all preceding episodes, the last instalment of this series is going to be immersive and intense, gritty and gripping, from the beginning to the end – and as all good TV should, will leave us wanting more.

Suspects Series 3 episode 4 airs 10pm Wednesday 21 January, on Channel 5.
